Heading East - September 11 - 22, 2022

We had some time before heading south to the BCCA National Specialty so we decide to make a trip "Down East" to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

Our original plans included visiting Rod's cousin Denis now living in St. John, NB as well as our friends Jane & Michel in St. Andrews, NB and Rod's brother in NS. Denis fell off the initial list when he and his partner contracted some bug (COVID or other). We hoped to defer until the way home.

The rest of the trip went generally as planned but was cut short when the path of Hurricane Fiona became clear. Having had a taste of Hurricane Matthew in Cape Breton in 2016, we declined the joy of a redo and beat a path home before it arrived. A good choice in retrospect.
