A Weekend In Long Sault 2021 - July 9-11, 2021

On Thursday, June 24 while we were still on our last trip We got a message from our friend Jane saying: "Found 2 sites together at woodland July 9 & 10. Interested?". They were looking for a chance to take their class C motorhome out for its first run of the season while enjoying some good food and company. Of course we immediately accepted and she booked sites 96 and 104 at the Woodlands Campground toward the west end of the Long Sault Parkway. This is a nice campground that we have known for years since it is the site of the annual SD&G Dog Show where we all have exhibited our dogs. We also spent a long weekend there together described in Escape To Ontario - August 20-30, 2020.

Over the week ahead of the trip we plotted out some key menu items to prepare ahead. We also started plotting out a longer trip to New Brunswick starting in mid-August.
